OVERVIEW

Tactic Rummy is an ageless card game that demands skill and tactics. Organize your cards into groups of the same rank (sets) and sequences of the same suit (runs), while reducing the number of cards that cannot be used (deadwood). The game concludes once a player reaches the target score, usually 100 points, turning it into a battle of wits to outwit your opponent and secure victory.


GUIDELINES

  1. Objective: Minimize the deadwood in your hand by forming sets and runs.
  • Sets: Collections of cards with identical rank (e.g., three 7s).
  • Runs: Sequential cards of the same suit (e.g., 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • The deadwood points of your opponent's remaining cards are added to your score.
  • Knocking or achieving "gin" (no deadwood) maximizes points.
  1. Victory:
  • The first player to reach or surpass 100 points wins the game.
  • Prevent your opponent from reaching 100 points before you do!
